Salewa, che ormai da tempo vive a Londra, torna a casa, nella nativa Nigeria, per il funerale della madre. Lì ritrova un amore di gioventù, da cui aveva dovuto allontanarsi per l’ingerenza della madre. La vita ha cambiato entrambe, ma l’incontro è necessario a Salewa per riconciliarsi con le sue origini.
Salewa, a young woman living in London, goes back to Nigeria, the country of her birth, for her mother’s funeral. There she finds a childhood love, from which she was forced to separate, due to her mother’s interference. Life has changed for both of them, but the journey is necessary for Salewa to reconcile with her identity and her choices.
